Choosing a Sound Healing Studio in Ho Chi Minh City: 7 Questions to Ask

The HEALIVERSE team·Oct 26, 2026·3 min read

Sound healing and sound baths have popped up all over Ho Chi Minh City, from small studios to spas and resorts. Styles vary and so do prices. Here are seven questions worth asking before you book, so you find a place that’s honest and right for you.

The general rule: a good place calls it a relaxation experience, asks about your health beforehand, keeps groups small, and is clear about prices and rescheduling.

Seven questions to ask

#AskA good sign
1Who leads the session, and how were they trained?Named facilitators with clear experience who answer questions openly
2What do they say it does?Relaxation and experience. No promises to cure illness
3How many people per session?Small groups, with room for everyone to lie comfortably
4Do they ask about your health first? They ask about pregnancy, epilepsy, implants and sound sensitivity
5Which instruments do they use? They can name the bowls and gong and how a session flows
6What are the prices and rescheduling rules?Prices are public and policies are written down
7Are sessions offered in English? An English-speaking facilitator if you need one

The space matters too

A good sound bath room doesn’t need to be luxurious, but it should be quiet, clean, softly lit and roomy enough for everyone to lie comfortably. Acoustics matter as well: a bare room echoes, while curtains, rugs and panels make the bowls sound rounder.

If you can, look at real photos or videos of a session, not just stock images.

How HEALIVERSE answers those seven questions

  • Facilitators: a named team experienced in leading sessions and training bowl and Reiki practitioners.
  • Claims: a sound bath is a relaxation experience, not a replacement for medical care.
  • Group size: 3 to 6 guests at midday, plus private 1:1 and sessions for two.
  • Safety: we ask about health when you book and adjust your spot and volume when needed.
  • Instruments: crystal bowls, Himalayan bowls, gong, harp and Tingsha.
  • Prices and policies: prices are listed on the website, and you can reschedule once with at least 2 hours’ notice.
  • English: Kennedy leads sessions in English for international guests.
